Candice Knight MD, MPH
Board Certified Integrative Holistic Medicine
Candice Knight, MD is the founder of Knight Integrative Medicine. As a native of south Louisiana, she is committed to serving her patients and her community with the tools and training she has received in integrative and functional medicine. Dr. Knight is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and the American Board of Integrative Holistic Medicine. She is a certified physician with the Institute for Functional Medicine and is in fellowship training for regenerative and functional medicine with the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine.
Donald S. Gervais Jr. MD
BOARD CERTIFIED NEUROLOGIST
Dr. Gervais was raised in New Orleans, Louisiana where he attended Louisiana State University from which he received his Doctor of Medicine degree in 1995 and was elected to the prestigious medical honor society, AOA. Dr. Gervais’ postgraduate training, at Louisiana State University Medical Center and Hospital Bicetre in Paris, included an internship in medicine, a residency in neurology, and a fellowship in neurophysiology and neuromuscular disease. He has been active in various clinical trials and has helped to develop new teaching tools for doctors around the United States. He serves as Medical Director of the Research and Development division of Southeast Neuroscience Center.
Michael Happel MD

Dr. Happel was raised in New Orleans, Louisiana and attended medical school at Louisiana State University. Dr. Happel completed his postgraduate training at Louisiana State University and Earl K Long Hospital Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center (New Orleans) – Clinical Neurophysiology. Dr. Happel is board certified in Neurology, American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and practices at the prestigious Northlake Neurological Institute at East Jefferson Hospital in New Orleans.
Dr. Ross Grant PhD
BOARD CERTIFIED NEUROLOGIST
Dr. Ross Grant, is Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Sydney Medical School, Biochemical Pharmacologist in the School of Medical Sciences, UNSW and CEO of the Australasian Research Institute at Sydney Adventist Hospital. Dr. Grant’s research is focused on the role of oxidative stress and changes in NAD+ metabolism and how these influence cellular degeneration, particularly in the brain and central nervous system. A related interest is in the effect of exposure to novel nutritional components, such as polyphenols, on human cellular response to oxidative stress, with a goal of detecting and correcting early degenerative biochemical changes associated with age-related degenerative disease. With more than fifty published articles in peer-reviewed scientific journals and two book chapters, Dr. Grant is a productive author in the field of neurodegeneration, oxidative stress, inflammation and NAD metabolism. He is on the editorial boards of several journals including, Annals of Translational Medicine, the International Journal of Tryptophan Research, International Journal of Child Health and Nutrition and Journal of Nutrition Pharmacology and Neurological Disease. He has presented over sixty research papers at scientific and medical conferences, and is regularly invited to speak at public and professional seminars each year. Dr. Grant is a board member of Nutrition Australia and a member of the Australian Society for Medical Research (ASMR), Nutrition Society of Australia (NSA), Australian Diseases Management Association (ADMA) and Australian Society of Lifestyle Medicine Association (ASLM).

James Moises MD

Dr. Moises was raised in New Orleans, Louisiana and attended medical school at Louisiana State University. He received his medical degree in 1994 from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans and has been in practice for more than 20 years. Dr. Moises specializes in Cerebral Ischemia and Traumatic Brain Injury.
Michael T. Ledet MD
Preventive Care & Sleep Medicine
Dr. Ledet is the Director of Preventive Care & Sleep Medicine in Mobile Alabama, primarily managing patients with Lipid and Sleep disorders. He is board certified in Family Medicine, Sleep Medicine, and Lipidology. He has been the Medical Director of the Southeast Regional Center for Sleep/Wake Disorders at Springhill Medical Center for the past 30 years. He also serves as an investigator at Coastal Clinical Research. He received his BS from the University of Alabama and his MD from the University of South Alabama College of Medicine. He finished his Family Medicine residency at Tallahassee Regional Medical Center. He serves as an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Family Medicine at USACOM. Dr. Ledet’s clinical and research interests include evaluating and treating patient’s cardiovascular risk factors. He has also enjoyed evaluating and treating all types of sleep disorders for the past 30 years. He appreciates the association between vascular disease and sleep disorders and now lectures on this subject in the southeast US. His article titled, “Sleeping Away Diabetic Complications” was published in Practical Diabetology, 2010.
Richard F. Mestayer, III M.D.

In his 39-year career as a practicing physician at Ochsner of New Orleans, Dr. Mestayer helped countless men and women overcome chemical dependencies, traumatic stress, depression, anxiety, panic, and affective personality disorders. For the past 16 years since retiring from Ochsner, as medical director of Springfield Wellness Center in Springfield, Louisiana, Dr. Mestayer has worked with an infinite number of patients administering NAD/BR+ demonstrating impressive results in the detoxification of substance abuse patients, as well as restorative brain properties for patients with PTSD, anxiety and depression. In 2014, Dr. Mestayer established BR+ MD Consultants where he is the sole proprietor, medical director and primary instructor of training to physicians all around the country for the use and implementation of NAD protocols. Since May of 2016, Dr. Mestayer has also served as founding board member, medical director and researcher of NAD Research, Inc.
